چکیده
Herein, fluorescent silica (F-SiO2) ENMs (50 nm) were synthesized, which could be taken up and translocated from rice root to shoot, promoting the plant growth resistance planthopper compared with Si ion fertilizers under hydroponic conditions. Particularly, upon exposure F-SiO2 (5 mg?L?1) suspension for 9 days, fresh dry weight (FW DW) of length, surface area, tip number increased by 33.58%, 65.22%, 15.26%, 20.26% 29.01%, respectively. Notably, in presence planthopper, shoot FW DW still 61.88% 114.75%, The lignin content (by 30.13%) formation cells stem after mechanical barriers against planthoppers. transcriptome data revealed that upregulate expression genes involved plant-pathogen interactions, hormone signal transduction, glucose metabolism carbon fixation pathway, seedlings. Our findings provide first evidence underlying molecular mechanisms SiO2 enhancing planthopper.

Multiple linear regression models (pest-weather models) were developed between monthly mean brown planthopper (BPH), Nilaparvata lugens light trap catches and monthly mean values of minimum temperature (Tmin), maximum temperature (Tmax), morning relative humidity (RH 1 ) and evening relative humidity (RH 2 ) observed at Maruteru, Andhra Pradesh during 2000-2007 kharif seasons. Comparison betwee...
متن کاملIdentification of Qtls for Brown Planthopper (nilaparvata Lugens Stal.) Resistance in Ril Mapping Population of Rice (oryza Sativa L.)
The brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stal.) is one of the major insect pests of rice (Oryza sativa L.). Exploitation of Host Plant Resistance is a major component to manage this pest. The development of rice varieties that are resistant to the brown planthopper is an important objective in current breeding programmes. This study was undertaken to identify QTLs for BPH resistance from an el...
متن کاملProteome Analysis of Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Mutants Reveals Differentially Induced Proteins during Brown Planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens) Infestation
Although rice resistance plays an important role in controlling the brown planthopper (BPH), Nilaparvata lugens, not all varieties have the same level of protection against BPH infestation. Understanding the molecular interactions in rice defense response is an important tool to help to reveal unexplained processes that underlie rice resistance to BPH. A proteomics approach was used to explore ...
متن کاملThe Transcription Factor OsWRKY45 Negatively Modulates the Resistance of Rice to the Brown Planthopper Nilaparvata lugens
WRKY transcription factors play a central role not only in plant growth and development but also in plant stress responses. However, the role of WRKY transcription factors in herbivore-induced plant defenses and their underlying mechanisms, especially in rice, remains largely unclear. Here, we cloned a rice WRKY gene OsWRKY45, whose expression was induced by mechanical wounding, by infestation ...
